 Northumberland Schools December 2015 Newsletter

Age Grade Review and the Structure of Season 2016-17

This should be available for circulation in early December and I will circulate another Newsletter with the changes and the meetings that will be needed to evolve the Northumberland Schools', Clubs and Representative system from September 2016.

Player Pathway
This has evolved from Schools of Rugby in  recent years and is led by Drew Robertson in conjunction with the Falcons and Northumbria University Sport Central
It is an exceptional programme for aspirational talented rugby players to enable them to fulfil their potential, with player centred training initially based in the 4 Areas of Northumberland, evolving to 2 Districts - West and East - at U15 and then to a County team at U16.  From the Pathway the Falcons select players for their Academy programme at U16 and into selection for England 16 group.
The Pathway starts for Year 8 boys in February 2016 and nominations should be received by Friday 4th. December to the County Administrator
claire.sharpe@northumberlandrfu.co.uk   Druid Park, Woolsington, Newcastle NE13 8DF
