Monday 19 February 2018

Vacancy: Senior County Representative Rugby.

An Honorary Team Secretary/Assistant Manager is required to work with the management team supporting Senior Northumberland Rugby Union (Men) for the 2018 season. The time commitment is mostly limited to the 3/4 weekends' playing calendar during May with training through late April. Meetings with coaches and other support staff will be held two or three times before then.

This post is obviously part-time but would suit someone with an interest in rugby and good administrative skills looking to contribute to a programme which draws together players from across the County to play in one of the RFU’s most prestigious tournaments. We strive to give players an enjoyable and competitive a taste of representative honours which can lead to the England Counties international programme for those of exceptional ability.

If you are interested in this role (or any others which would help support Northumberland County playing squads) please contact Mark Richard, Chairman of Representative Rugby before 28th February for more information. A full description of the roles and responsibilities is attached.
