Nominations for Board and Other Senior Positions in Northumberland Rugby Union
The NRU Nominations Committee request Nominations for the following Board and Other Senior Positions in NRU for the 2019 / 20 Season, for the initial terms of tenure stated (which may be eligible for re-election) as per our Rules & Regulations. Please note that current incumbents may be eligible for re-election.
Junior Vice-President (5 years on the Presidential Team)
RFU Council Representative (1 year)
Hon. Secretary / Director (1 year)
Director of Governance (3 years)
Director of Representative Rugby Development (3 years)
2 Independent Non-Executive Directors (1 year).
Nomination of a Candidate by a Member must be Seconded by another Member and the Candidate must be willing to stand for the initial term of tenure stated and for potential re-election as per our Rules & Regulations.
The Junior Vice-President role is normally a 2 year position leading to 1 year as Senior Vice President, 1 year as President, and 1 year as Immediate Past President; all of which are Ambassadorial Positions for NRU.
The RFU Council Representative role is to represent NRU on the RFU Council and its Committees at Twickenham and is elected annually.
