New Season, New Logo

Northumberland Rugby are very excited to launch their new, improved logo for the coming season.

Northumberland is a proud rugby county and has been since 1880, being the driving force for rugby in the area for more than 139 years.

As you may be aware, the logo has not changed for many years and it was decided it was about time it was refreshed and brought up to date.  We wanted it to have a modern appeal but retain key historical elements, such as the shield and the lion, which has been simplified.  We've also added '1880' in reverence to our proud, longstanding heritage.

Of course, we will only be replacing the logo when playing/off field kit is due to be renewed but you will start seeing the new logo appear on letterhead, website, newsletter etc. very shortly.  Keep an eye out for it.

Please note that the use of the Northumberland Rugby logo is strictly prohibited without prior written consent, as we're keen to adopt a standardised logo format across all platforms.  Any use of the NRU logo must, therefore, be approved by NRU first.  If you'd like to request consent, please email Jim on with details.
