This season the County U12’s Waterfall Tournament will be run over two weekends.
The first round of matches will be held at various volunteer locations on 15th April. We will need 4x volunteer clubs to host the first round of matches. I suggest that we look at afternoon fixtures to allow for space.
Alnwick and Tynedale have already volunteered to host on the 15th April, so if we could have two more clubs please, thank you.
The finals will involve all teams and will take place at Alnwick on the afternoon of 22nd April.
The event will take a Waterfall format. So can you please confirm;
- Number of teams that you will be entering and estimates squad size.

Tynedale x1 Team (squad 20)
Alnwick x1 Team (squad 18)
Novos x2 Teams (squad 28)
WBR x1 Team (squad 18)
Percy Park x1 Team (squad ?)

Based on expected number of teams entered we should have 12 teams in total which will work well.
2. Can you grade your teams 1, 2, or 3 based on experience. 1 being most experienced, 3 being least experienced.
A draw will then be made based upon grades for the first round of matches. You are each asked to provide an independent coach referee at each weekend.
For the finals at Alnwick 1st play 1st etc. A trophy, bowl or plate etc. will be presented to successful teams in each category and each team entered will receive an award. There won’t be player medals.

The Waterfall Festival will take place over two weekends with the 15th allocated to host club based on the draw. The finals will be played at Alnwick on the 22nd.
Initially I would be grateful if you can confirm the number of teams that you would like to enter and squad size per team. The event will be normal U12’s NRoP, with teams of 12 players.
