Condolences: Malcolm Jarvie

It’s with such a heavy heart and tears in our eyes that we write this.

Sadly after a short illness Northumberland Referees Society, Northumberland Rugby and Novos stalwart Malcolm Jarvie passed away yesterday.

Malcolm was one of a kind who always had referee’s and rugby’s best interests at heart. From playing, reffing, advising, being on the Discipline committee and being President of Northumberland Rugby, Malcolm did everything with a smile, wit and determination.

He not only wanted to help improve referees but also improve the person reffing. His dedication and commitment was second to none.

He will be a massive miss within Northumberland rugby but for us referees that had the pleasure of his company, his mantras will live on.
