Honda Volunteer Recognition Lunch hosted by RFU President Rob Briers

Last Friday, County Safeguarding Manager, Mark Reade, attended a Honda Volunteer Recognition lunch held at Twickenham Stadium and hosted by RFU President Rob Briers. The day included a presentation of certificates & gifts to the volunteers recognised and was followed by a stadium tour.

The citation for Mark from the RFU reads: “Mark demonstrates a tireless enthusiasm for safe practice as CB Safeguarding Manager for Northumberland and can always be counted on to offer the highest level of support to the RFU Safeguarding Team, following up with clubs and working collaboratively to ensure the needs of children and volunteers are met.”

Congratulations to Mark.  We hope you enjoyed your day – well deserved recognition for the work you do.

Thank you from everyone in Northumberland for the support you offer and for helping our CSOs keep our clubs as safe spaces for everyone.
