Girl Power – The Science of Female Rugby Players
Girls and Womens Rugby Workshop delivered by Jojo Hall and Lindsay McNaughton.
We are delighted to announce two workshops specifically designed to support the female rugby player both on and off the pitch.
Delivered by Jojo Hall (Tynedale physio and Womens Health Physiotherapist) and Professor Lindsay McNaughton (Northumberland Referees Society and PhD SENr Assistant Professor in Sport Nutrition at Durham University and Lead Sport Nutritionist at Newcastle Red Bulls) we would like to invite players and coaches from the Under 14s, Under 16s and Under 18s Girls age bands and adult womens teams to attend what we hope will be an informative evening.
The workshops will be informal (so you can ask questions) and will cover everything from menstrual cycle, pelvic floor and pelvic health to fuelling and recovery nutrition advice.
Sessions are FREE and you don’t need to book – just turn up!
Both workshops will be the same, we have them on two different nights to open the sessions to many people as possible.
Workshop One – Tuesday 7th April at Morpeth RFC, 7pm to 9pm
Workshop Twp – Wednesday 8th April at WB Rockcliff RFC, 7pm to 9pm
Please do support this new initiative designed to help and advise players in county.
