This bank holiday weekend, Morpeth RFC is hosting its 10th Annual Beer Festival and Morpeth 7s tournament.
The weekend will feature end-to-end entertainment including live music, thrilling rugby matches, and of course a wide selection of beers, ciders and other refreshments such as Pimms and gins.
Supporting a Fantastic Cause
Morpeth RFC has partnered with the children’s rugby charity Wooden Spoon. The charity works to transform the lives of young people through the power of rugby and by attending you are helping them make a difference.
Rugby All Weekend
If you are missing your rugby fix now that the league season has concluded then you are in luck! The Vets kicks off the action on Friday evening with the Northumberland RU VetFest Tournament. Attendees on Saturday will be entertained by the Morpeth Marauders Vs Northumberland Wooden Spoon before a charity raffle and auction takes place. Morpeth 7s Tournament closes the festival on Sunday.
Fun for the Whole Family
The festival is being promoted as a family festival and under 18s are welcome until 9pm. On Sunday there will be rugby matches featuring under 11s and under 14s.
