Northumberland RFU Safeguarding
Northumberland Rugby Union has a legal and moral duty to ensure that when given responsibility for children and vulnerable adults, all coaches and volunteers provide the highest possible standards of care.
The pages in this section should assist all those involved in the game – volunteers, coaches, players, referees and spectators.
The procedures are in place not only for safeguarding children but also for the adults at your club and the club itself.
The welfare of all young people is paramount and safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.
If you have any queries relating to the Safeguarding and Welfare of children, in the first instance, please contact your Club Safeguarding Officer or Mark Reade, County Safeguarding Manager.
Mark can be contacted on 07946 522262 or by e-mail at MarkReade@northumberlandrfu.co.uk
