Do you have a passion to improve Youth Rugby in Northumberland and help all players improve and play at their highest level?
Northumberland Rugby Union are looking for highly motivated and professional people to work with the newly appointed Chair of Youth, Andrew Neal. The Youth Committee is a vital committee supporting and guiding Youth rugby in the CB. It oversees the planning, co-ordination, resourcing and management of Northumberland’s Youth Rugby from mini/midi to U18 rugby in both the boys and girls game.
The aims and objectives of the Youth Committee are;
- To promote the efficient and effective development of Youth Rugby through the organisation of appropriate, formally approved and organised County competitions.
- To promote the values of the game of rugby especially through appropriate coach and referee education and development.
- To organise an annual Youth forum to glean feedback from all constituent clubs in the County.
- To liaise with the clubs and disseminate relevant RFU information and guidance to key personnel in clubs’ Youth sections.
- To liaise with the County competitions and the County Age Grade Disciplinary Officer on all relevant matters relating to Youth rugby.
